Birth Story Medicine

Birth Story Medicine (BSM)

https://birthstorymedicine.com/

Provide a safe space to share, reflect and process your birth story.

As the title suggests, share your own birth experience with birth story listeners (trained listeners)

By speaking and by noticing, it becomes a medicine.

As a birth story listener (listener), I redefine the birth experience of the speaker, and from what I had myself,

Sometimes we get to know new perspectives, some more compassionate, some more meaningful.

It can also be helpful for parents and childbirth assistants who feel disadvantaged or have had traumatic births.

This is a session of gentle conversation aimed at supporting

the healing process of unresolved childbirth experiences.

It is a way of telling your childbirth experience that is completely different from the way of telling the events of childbirth in chronological order.

As a listener, by looking deeply and carefully at a part of the story of the person who talked to me,

I feel like I can change the way you look at your entire childbirth experience.

Also, instead of changing what happened,

I have had many real experiences of changing the way I feel about myself as a result of what happened.

In the words of my mentor, "Whatever happened, you can’t go back and change it.

But today, the meaning we attach to that experience, as mothers, as human beings,

Believe in the impact it has on our lives, all of which can be explored and changed years after giving birth."

Intended Audience: Anyone who has given birth, including birth mothers, partners, and midwives.

Session time: 1 hour to 1.5 hours
Fee 5,000 yen
